Regular Season Round 6: Obera - Union SF 84-66

Bottom-rankedUnion (0-2) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 84-66 loss to fourteenth ranked Obera (2-1) in Obera on Monday evening. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Obera looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Lucas Andujar (185-1996) scored 12 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Will Vorhees (203-1995, college: NDC) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Vorhees is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Obera players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Venezuelan guard Yeferson Guerra (192-2003) with 11 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Andrew Corum (201-1997, college: Virginia St.) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Obera moved-up to ninth place. Loser Union SF still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Platense.
