Venezuelan center Jesus Centeno (205-2006) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Jose Copesky (184-2006) chipped in 24 points during the contest. Four Gimnasia CR players scored in double figures. Gimnasia CR's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Franco Gimenez (190) with 35 points (!!!) and scored 20 points. Gimnasia CR have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. La Union at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost.
