Very expected game when bottom-ranked Union (0-3) was edged by thirteenth ranked Racing Ch. (2-3) in Santa Fe 88-85 on Thursday. Racing Ch. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Union's 30. Racing Ch. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. notched 21 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the effort and supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Even 23 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) by Romeo Amprimo did not help to save the game for Union. Lucas Peralta (-2005) added 23 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Racing Ch. moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Quimsa. Loser Union still closes the standings with three games lost. Racing Ch. will meet Quimsa (#11) in the next round. Union will play against Regatas (#10) in Corrientes and hopes to get finally their first victory.
