The most surprising game was the first loss ofIndepend.O. (4-1) in Santiado del Estero on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by eleventh ranked Quimsa (4-3) 86-83 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Independ.O.. Worth to mention a great performance of American Brandon Robinson (196-1989, college: Clayton St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Leonardo Lema (203-1998) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. replied with 20 points and the former international center Agustin Caffaro (211-1995) added 15 points in the effort for Independ.O.Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Quimsa moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Obras and San Martin. Independ.O. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost.
