There was an upset when higher ranked Atenas (4-6) lost to fourteenth ranked Obera (3-2) in Cordoba 65-79 on Thursday. Agustin Brocal (191-1997) notched 14 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Alejo Azpilicueta (201-2002) supported him with 16 points. Even 19 points by point guard Santiago Ferreyra (188-1997) did not help to save the game for Atenas. American forward Nakye Sanders (202-1997, college: Towson) added 10 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Obera moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Regatas. Atenas lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost.
