There was no surprise in Comodoro Rivadavia where 13th rankedBoca Jrs (3-7) was defeated by fourth ranked Gimnasia CR (6-2) 106-93 on Tuesday. Gimnasia looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Venezuelan center Jesus Centeno (205-2006) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. Valentino Ayala helped adding 19 points and 5 assists. Gimnasia CR's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Tiago Drocezesky (193-2005) responded with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Octavio Donzino produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Gimnasia and five Boca Jrs. players scored in double figures. Gimnasia CR have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 6-2 record. Boca Jrs. lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with seven games lost.
