No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedUnion Florida (4-4) beat on the road 9th ranked Lanus (1-8) 54-50 on Thursday. It was an exceptional evening for Delfina Saravia who led the winners and scored 16 points. Carla Miculka accounted for 7 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American power forward Jazmyn Turner (188-2001, college: IUPUI) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Lanus in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Union Florida moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gorriones. Lanus lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost.
