Regular Season Round 3: GELP - Provincial 88-80

An interesting game was played in La Plata where host GELP (#8) won against Provincial 88-80 on Friday evening. It was a great evening for Gianfranco Sinconi who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Agustin Vergara (200-2001) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-1982) with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and swingman Federico Gobetti (192-1999) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four GELP and five Provincial players scored in double figures. GELP will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Provincial will play against Ciclista (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
