Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenUnion (4-5) and Quimsa (3-6), which took place in Santiago del Estero. Higher ranked Union lost to seventeenth ranked Quimsa in a road game 87-93 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Union. They outrebounded Union 44-28 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Romeo Amprimo who scored that evening 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Patricio Cogliati (203-2006) supported him with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Quimsa's coach Mariano Marcos used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 29 points and 5 rebounds by forward Santino Mazzucchelli (196-2004) did not help to save the game for Union . added 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Union players scored in double figures. Quimsa moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Union dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost.
