Regular Season Round 13: Instituto - Ferro 58-55

Ninth-ranked Ferro (5-4) gave a tough game to first ranked Instituto (10-2) in Cordoba. Instituto managed to secure only three-point victory 58-55. However their fans expected much easier game. Instituto outrebounded Ferro 48-37 including 34 on the defensive glass. Jerson Caicedo nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Jeronimo Guerrero accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds. Instituto's coach Ignacio Giambartolomei allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Camilo Rodriguez came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds and guard Ulises Martorell (198-2006) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Ferro in the defeat. Instituto maintains first place with 10-2 record. Ferro lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with four games lost. Instituto will play against San Martin (#14) in Corrientes in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ferro will have a break next round.
