No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedUnion Florida (6-6) defeated at home 8th ranked El Bigua (3-10) 77-64 on Monday. Union Florida dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to El Bigua 's 18 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded El Bigua 43-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Carla Miculka who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 8 rebounds and Sol Depetris who added 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Union Florida's coach Nicolas Grosso used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Maria Jourdheuil responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and the former international power forward Agostina Burani (186-1991) scored 17 points. Union Florida moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted El Bigua keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Riachuelo.
