Regular Season Round 13: Racing Ch. - Gimnasia 78-82

There was no surprise in Chivilcoy where 10th ranked Racing Ch. (4-5) was defeated by sixth ranked Gimnasia CR (7-3) 82-78 on Tuesday. Venezuelan center Jesus Centeno (205-2006) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Natalio Santacroce chipped in 20 points. Four Gimnasia CR players scored in double figures. Tomas Delia produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and Diego Tonarelli added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Racing Ch.'s coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gimnasia moved-up to fifth place. Loser Racing Ch. keeps the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Union. Gimnasia will meet Argentino (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Racing Ch. will have a break next round.
