We should mention about the upset which took place in La Banda, where higher rankedBoca Juniors (7-6) lost to eighteenth ranked Olimpico (4-7) in a road game 71-83 on Wednesday. Olimpico dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Boca Juniors ' 22. The best player for the winners was Agustin Facello who scored 21 points and 6 assists. American forward Richard Granberry (203-1993, college: Virginia St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Five Olimpico players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Sebastian Vega (200-1988) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Agustin Barreiro (205-1999) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Olimpico moved-up to fifteenth place. Boca Juniors lost third consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Instituto.
