No shocking result in a game in Santa Fe where fourth rankedPenarol (7-4) smashed 13th ranked Union (4-6) 82-63 on Wednesday. Penarol outrebounded Union 49-35 including a 44-31 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for point guard Facundo Vazquez (185-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Ivan Basualdo helped adding 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Penarol players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Chris Vogt (213-1999, college: Wisconsin, agency: Haylett Sports) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Franco Balbi (189-1989) scored 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Loser Union SF dropped to the fourteenth position with six games lost.
