Rather predictable result when third rankedSan Jose (11-5) defeated at home 5th ranked Avellaneda (6-9) 61-57 . San Jose forced 21 Avellaneda turnovers. Olivia Griffa nailed 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Aldana Gayoso accounted for 14 points. Four San Jose players scored in double figures. Selena Medrick came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Sofia Gonzalez added 13 points respectively for Avellaneda in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. San Jose have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Newly promoted San Jose maintains third place with 11-5 record having just three points less than leader El Talar.
