Rather predictable result in Corrientes where seventh ranked Regatas (8-3) beat 9th ranked Platense (6-5) 75-66 on Wednesday. Regatas outrebounded Platense 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Point guard Exequiel Lezcano (180-2007) stepped up and scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Benjamin Marco (186-2005) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Santino Mazzucchelli (196-2004) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Mariano Goicoechea (195-2004) scored 23 points. Regatas moved-up to fifth place. Platense lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with five games lost. Regatas will meet San Lorenzo (#7) in the next round. Platense will play against Atenas and hope to secure a win.
