Very expected game in Buenos Aires where 14th rankedEl Talar (3-6) was defeated by second ranked Provincial (9-2) 91-76 on Monday. The best player for the winners was Ecuadorian Abraham Barahona (195-2003) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Uruguayan center Matias Acosta (200-1999) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five Provincial players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Venezuelan power forward Fernando Fuenmayor (201-2000) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Ecuadorian power forward Matias Nunez (202-1995) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Provincial have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-2 record behind leader San Isidro. El Talar lost fourth consecutive game.
