There was a small surprise in Junin where fifteenth rankedEl Talar (4-7) beat 13th ranked Ciclista (4-10) 74-66 on Sunday. El Talar shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Enzo Ruiz (194-1988) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Matias Cueva (185-1997) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Italian center Damian Tintorelli (205-1981) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Ecuadorian Erick Mecias (194-2003) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Ciclista's coach Julian Pagura rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. El Talar moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Hindu and Riojana. Ciclista lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with ten games lost.
