American forward Nakye Sanders (202-1997, college: Towson) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Danjel Purifoy (201-1995, college: Auburn, agency: Helping Ballers) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Atenas players scored in double figures. American swingman Dennis McKinney (194-1998, college: Mt.Mercy) responded with 18 points and Valentin Forestier (194-2003) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Despite that victory Atenas went down to eighteenth position due to points difference. Loser Olimpico dropped to the fourteenth place with 12 games lost.
