There was a minor upset when their close opponentRiojana (7-8) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Caroya (6-8) 79-75 . Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Maurice Walton (206-1998, college: BENUM) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Juan Frontera (178-2002) contributed with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners.
