Regular Season Round 5: Bochas - Gorriones 78-64

Bochas has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Gorriones (0-3) 78-64 on Tuesday. Bochas forced 20 Gorriones turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Delfina Alves (186-2008) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds. Luzmila Varzi chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Bochas players scored in double figures. Bochas' coach Carlos Saran used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Lucia Pispieiro produced 20 points and 7 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and swingman Candela Ruffino (184-1994) added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests. Bochas (1-3) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place. It was Gorriones ' third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Rocamora.
