Very important is a road loss of second rankedQuilmes (11-6) against sixteenth ranked Villa Mitre (5-8) on Wednesday night. Visiting Quilmes was defeated by Villa Mitre in a tough game in Bahia Blanca 75-79 . Strangely Quilmes outrebounded Villa Mitre 44-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Ignacio Alem (199-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Federico Harina (186-1991) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). At the losing side point guard Santiago Luduena (178-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists and Joaquin Rios (193-1995) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Quilmes players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Villa Mitre moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with El Talar. Quilmes lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with six games lost. They share it with Amancay.
