Very predictable result in Buenos Aires where eighth rankedLanus (9-7) beat 14th ranked U.Mar del Plata (5-12) 92-75 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for American center Roquez Johnson (201-1992, college: MSU, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points. Swingman Joaquin Noblega (194-1997) helped adding 13 points. Four Lanus players scored in double figures. At the losing side Juan Bellozas (195-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and Panamanian point guard Guillermo Navarro (181-2003) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lanus have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place. U.Mar del Plata lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 12 games lost.
