There was an upset in Chaco where leaderHindu (4-1) was defeated by twelfth ranked Gorriones (2-3) 64-49 on Sunday. Gorriones outrebounded Hindu 48-32 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Jacqueline Soto (-1997, agency: BIG) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Candela Ruffino (184-1994) helped adding 21 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side the former international center Malvina DAgostino (184-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Melina Niz (165-2005, agency: BIG) scored 21 points. Hindu's coach Renato Novatti tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gorriones moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Hindu dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Union Florida.
