Very expected game when 15th rankedRiojana (7-12) was defeated at home by second ranked Amancay (13-6) 93-75 on Monday. Diego Peralta (195-1994) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Pablo Osores (194-1986) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Amancay players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-1988) responded with 26 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and forward Juan Rodriguez (196-2002) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Amancay have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with San Isidro. Riojana lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 12 games lost.
