A very close game took place in Florida betweenEl Talar and Union Florida . Eleventh ranked El Talar (3-3) got a very close victory on the road over 4th placed Union Florida (4-2). El Talar managed to escape with a 2-point win 61-59 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Union Florida. The former international Agustina Marin (170-2003) stepped up and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American swingman Nija Collier (183-1999, college: Central Mo.) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Maria Laviero (172-1996) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Union Florida's coach Nicolas Grosso rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. El Talar moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Gorriones. Loser Union Florida dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Instituto. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
