LaLiga Femenina top team -Obras (7-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eleventh ranked Union Florida (4-4) 68-61 . The former international power forward Agostina Burani (186-1991) stepped up and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Florencia Chagas (180-2001) chipped in 14 points. At the losing side American swingman Nija Collier (183-1999, college: Central Mo.) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and guard Natalia Tondi (170-2003, college: VCU) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Union Florida players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Obras went down to second position due to points difference. Union Florida lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. They share the position with Gorriones and Independiente.
