There was no surprise in Santa Fe where 17th rankedColon (5-13) was outplayed by seventh ranked Estudiantes T. (11-8) 85-66 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) who scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Elias Cave (201, college: Minot St.) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five Estudiantes T. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Hans Feder who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and Santiago Costa added 12 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Estudiantes T. maintains seventh place with 11-8 record. Loser Colon SF keeps the seventeenth position with 13 games lost. Estudiantes T. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Colon will play against Suardi (#12) and hope to secure a win.
