Eighth-rankedVilla S.Martin (10-9) made lots of trouble for second ranked San Isidro (15-6) in Resistencia on Tuesday. The visitors from San Francisco managed to secure only two-point victory 75-73 . However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Villa S.Martin. Swingman Manuel Lambrisca (192-1997) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Julian Eydallin (195-2000) chipped in 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. San Isidro's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Venezuelan Elian Centeno (200-2000) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Favio Vieta (188-1996) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Five Villa S.Martin players scored in double figures. San Isidro have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with C.Entrerriano. Villa S.Martin at the other side keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. San Isidro is looking forward to face Comunicaciones (#15) in Mercedes in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Villa S.Martin will play on the road against Suardi (#11) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
