There was no surprise in General Pico where 12th rankedU.Mar del Plata (8-15) was defeated by seventh ranked Pico FC (13-9) 88-71 . Pico FC outrebounded U.Mar del Plata 39-23 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Rodrigo Sanchez (200-1989) notched 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Felipe Bonfigli (198) supported him with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Even 13 points and 5 rebounds by Panamanian point guard Guillermo Navarro (181-2003) did not help to save the game for U.Mar del Plata . Mateo Macrini added 11 points.
