There was a minor upset when 9th rankedRacing Ch. (11-13) lost to eleventh ranked Gimnasia CR (11-14) in Comodoro Rivadavia 67-76 on Wednesday. Gimnasia forced 20 Racing Ch. turnovers. Venezuelan center Jesus Centeno (205-2006) nailed 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side and Natalio Santacroce accounted for 21 points and 6 rebounds. Gimnasia CR's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Diego Tonarelli came up with 8 points and 12 rebounds and Paraguayan Augusto Cardenas added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Racing Ch. in the defeat. Gimnasia moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Quimsa. Loser Racing Ch. keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost.
