Not a big story in a game in Cordoba where 16th rankedLas Heras (6-18) was outplayed by third ranked Barrio Parque (16-7) 106-71 on Wednesday. Barrio Parque dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Las Heras ' 42. They outrebounded Las Heras 36-22 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Francisco Bonja who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Dominican forward Jorge Garcia (200-2003) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Chilean Martin Irrutia (-1999) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Venezuelan center Javinger Vargas (202-1990) scored 13 points. Five Barrio Parque and four Las Heras players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Barrio Parque keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Amancay. Las Heras lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the sixteenth place with 18 games lost.
