The most important game in the last round took place in Corrientes between third rankedRegatas (15-9) and tenth ranked Penarol Regatas was crushed by Penarol at home 67-86 . It was a good game for naturalized Dominican forward Xavier Carreras (198-1994) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. point guard Facundo Vazquez (185-1998) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Spanish-Colombian power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Sebastian Lugo (195-1998) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Regatas.
