Undefeated leaderChanares delivered the sixteenth consecutive victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Quimsa (8-8) 71-65 in Santiado del Estero. Chanares forced 21 Quimsa turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Naturalized Italian point guard Regina Carosio (165-1986) contributed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swingman Lorena Campos (171-1999) replied with 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Agostina Leguizamon (164-2000) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Quimsa. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chanares (16-0) have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 16 victories in a row. Quimsa at the other side dropped to the ninth place with eight games lost.
