Everything went according to plan in Cordoba where seventh rankedSalta Basket (17-14) outscored 15th ranked Hindu (10-19) 91-64 on Thursday. Tomas Botta fired 16 points for the winners. American Chance Hunter (198-1998, college: Cal Poly) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Salta Basket players scored in double figures. Carlos Buemo (194-1996) produced 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Ramiro Rattero (199-2000, agency: BIG) added 11 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Salta Basket moved-up to sixth place. Loser Hindu dropped to the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. They share it with Ciclista. Salta Basket will meet Caroya (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Hindu will have a break next round.
