We should mention about the upset which took place in Obera, where 7th rankedIndepend.O. (15-13) was outleveled in a road game by tenth ranked Obera (14-15) 101-68 . It was a good game for Colombian point guard Edwin Niebles (178-2005) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Albano Costa (192-2006) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Obera players scored in double figures. Obera's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Elias Garcia answered with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Maximo Benavidez (183-2007) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Independ.O.Obera moved-up to eighth place, which they share with San Lorenzo and Racing Ch. Independ.O. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost.
