Not a big story in a game when 18th rankedRiachuelo (1-15) was outscored by eighth ranked Instituto (9-7) in Cordoba 87-41 on Sunday. Instituto dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Riachuelo 's 24. Instituto forced 30 Riachuelo turnovers and outrebounded them 44-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. Instituto looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Riachuelo 's players. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Giselle Botta (180-1999) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Chiara De Virgillio (163, college: Jefferson) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. Four Instituto players scored in double figures. Instituto's coach Ignacio Correas felt very confident using entire bench saving starting five for next games. Catalina Fessia (-2006) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Maria Acevedo (170-1993) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Riachuelo in the defeat. Instituto moved-up to sixth place. Riachuelo lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
