Regular Season Round 23: El Talar - Union Florida 90-85

There was no surprise when 10th rankedUnion Florida (8-5) lost to fifth ranked El Talar (9-6) in Caba 85-90 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. El Talar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Agustina Marin (170-2003) who led the winners and scored 36 points (!!!). Venezuelan Aguehil Fajardo (183-1999) accounted for 27 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. The former international forward Carla Miculka (174-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Sol Depetris (171-2007) added 26 points respectively for Union Florida in the defeat. Union Florida's coach Nicolas Grosso tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. El Talar maintains fifth place with 9-6 record. Loser Union Florida dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Berazategui.
