Regular Season Round 40: Union - Regatas 77-84

No shocking result in a game in Santa Fe where second ranked Regatas (25-6) won against 14th ranked Union (11-19) 84-77. Regatas players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by point guard Exequiel Lezcano (180-2007) who scored that evening 27 points and 5 assists and Alan Ledesma supported him with 16 points. Even 28 points and 6 rebounds by Pablo Spies did not help to save the game for Union. Swingman Benjamin Jacquier (193) added 19 points for lost side. Union's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Regatas maintains second position with 25-6 record having just ten point less than leader Instituto. Union at the other side keeps the fourteenth place with 19 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
