La Liga Argentina top team -Provincial (24-8) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat ninth ranked Racing A. (16-14) in Buenos Aires 77-63 . Provincial dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Racing A. 's 26. Provincial had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international power forward Gonzalo Torres (201-1994) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. point guard Gaston Gerbaudo chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Racing A.'s coach Juan Boadaz rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Provincial maintains first position with 24-8 record. Loser Racing A. dropped to the eighth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Comunicaciones.
