There was no surprise when 10th rankedCentenario VT (15-15) was edged at home by third ranked La Union (21-10) 78-76 on Friday. La Union dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Centenario VT 's 28. Bolivian forward Gonzalo Romero (196-1997) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Guard Matias Caire (188-1999) chipped in 20 points. Swingman Manuel Gomez (-1996) produced 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. La Union maintains third position with 21-10 record having just three points less than leader Provincial, which they share with Barrio Parque. Loser Centenario VT keeps the tenth place with 15 games lost.
