Very important is a road loss of second rankedQuimsa (20-12) against fourteenth ranked Olimpico (14-19) on Saturday night. Visiting Quimsa was defeated by Olimpico in a tough game in La Banda 81-86 . American swingman Dennis McKinney (194-1998, college: Mt.Mercy) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Venezuelan point guard Edwin Mijares (186-1992) contributed with 23 points for the winners. The former international Leonardo Lema (203-1998) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Diego Figueredo (185-1991, agency: BIG) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Quimsa. Quimsa's coach Leandro Ramella rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpico moved-up to thirteenth place. Quimsa at the other side dropped to the third position with 12 games lost.
