There was a small surprise in Almagra where twelfth rankedGimnasia CR (13-19) defeated 9th ranked San Lorenzo (15-16) 66-62 on Monday. The best player for the winners was Venezuelan power forward Jesus Centeno (205-2006) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Natalio Santacroce chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four Gimnasia CR players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivan Villarroel who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and Santiago Tallade added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. San Lorenzo's coach Juan Veira rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gimnasia maintains twelfth position with 13-19 record. Loser San Lorenzo dropped to the tenth place with 16 games lost.
