Important game to mention about took place in Caba. Second rankedObras (14-2) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging 5th ranked El Talar (11-6) 77-75 on Tuesday evening. Obras made 17-of-17 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. The winners were led by the former international point guard Florencia Chagas (180-2001) who scored that evening 29 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Candela Foresto (163-1999) supported her with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Obras' coach Javier Ielmini allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds by Rocio Cejas (171-2001) did not help to save the game for El Talar . Luna Cao added 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four El Talar players scored in double figures. Obras have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-2 record having just two points less than leader Chanares. El Talar at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost.
