There was a minor upset when 14th rankedSan Lorenzo (13-20) lost to sixteenth ranked Racing Ch. (14-21) in Chivilcoy 66-80 on Sunday. Racing Ch. made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by point guard Joaquin Valinotti (185-1998) who scored that evening 8 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Norberto Stucky supported him with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Racing Ch. players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 4 assists by point guard Lucas Perez (184-1987) did not help to save the game for San Lorenzo . Forward Facundo Rutenberg (195-2001) added 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Racing Ch. moved-up to fourteenth place. San Lorenzo lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Platense.
