Regular Season Round 50: Obera - Penarol 84-81

Eleventh-rankedPenarol (19-17) made lots of trouble for second ranked Obera (23-13). Obera managed to secure only three-point victory 84-81 . However their fans expected much easier game. Obera players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American-Mexican forward Daviyon Draper (200-1994, college: FIU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Bruno Sansimoni (194-1996) contributed with 15 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five Obera players scored in double figures. point guard Luciano Guerra (184-1997) replied with 20 points and the former international guard Agustin Perez (192-1999) added 15 points in the effort for Penarol. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Obera went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Regatas. Penarol at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost.
