Round 6 most important game was a defeat of league's leaderIsland DR (2-1). They were crushed by sixth ranked Shockers (1-1) 101-69 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Island DR. Shockers forced 21 Island DR turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international guard Michael Carey (196-1993, college: Wagner) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and William Rigby chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. Five Shockers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Tevin Hudson with 30 points and American guard Joshua Sweeting (187, college: CCU) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Shockers went down to seventh position due to points difference. Island DR at the other side dropped to the fourth place with one game lost. They share the position with Giants and Tucker Boys. They were replaced at the leadership position by Rockets.
