Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Nassau:Giants (#3) and Zulu MM (#8). Giants (6-1) crushed visiting Zulu MM (2-3) by 26 points 75-49 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zulu MM. The former international guard Jackson Jacob (186, college: NAIT) stepped up and scored 24 points and 7 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Jeffrey Henfield (193-1985, college: Tarleton St.) chipped in 16 points. Four Giants players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Kareem Lightbourne (183, college: ASA Miami) with 8 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jonaldo Joseph (198, college: RWU) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Giants . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Bamboo SE. Zulu MM at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Shockers.
