Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Nassau:High Flyers (#2) and Rockets (#3). Rockets were defeated at home 62-72 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rockets. High Flyers forced 29 Rockets turnovers. It was a great evening for Shantoin Pratt who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Qyemah Gibson (196-1997, college: St.Mary's) helped adding 10 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Abel Joseph (200-1990, college: Holland) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Roosevelt Whylly scored 7 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Rockets' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. High Flyers maintains second place with 12-1 record behind leader Giants. Rockets at the other side keep the third position with four games lost.
