There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Ods Fugees (8-5) defeated on the road 4th placed Connect SJ (7-5) 85-79. Ods Fugees dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Connect SJ's 48. Ods Fugees had a 23-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Denardo Adderley (193-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds. Guard Stephen Knowles contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Travis Wildgoose (-1992, college: Cleveland St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists and guard T'Vaughn Gibson (188, college: SUNY Maritime) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Connect SJ. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ods Fugees moved-up to third place, which they share with Pizza Hut L. Connect SJ at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Eight Mile RL.
